Biography
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
Co-founder, with René van Zyl, of the Christian Musical Theatre, a Hartebeespoort community project, in 2008.
Marlene started the shows with René as director and assistant to the music director. Her creative hand was in so many of our ideas and concepts. She is also a Graphic designer and designed all the posters and programs needed for the shows. She is also a: Writer. Music lover. Always creative. Wicked sense of humor. She went on to writing and directing her own shows for the professional stage.
She has directed a number of productions for the company.
