Cleo Wesley is a black, queer, non-binary creative, his work addresses the intersections of race, gender, sexuality and the psychosocial issues that South Africa's youth currently face. A 2015 alumni of the University of Cape Town's BA (Hons) in Theatre and Performance programme.

Made his professional theatre debut in 2016, performing in The Fugard Theatre’s hit musical “District Six – Kanala”, directed by David Kramer.

That same year he co-wrote & performed in “THE FALL” which had its world premiere at the Baxter Theatre Centre. The production won a Fleur Du Cap Encore Award before embarking on an international tour to Edinburgh, London, New York City, Bordeaux, Galway, Melbourne and Washington, DC. Biography

Cleo Wesley is a black, queer, non-binary creative, his work addresses the intersections of race, gender, sexuality and the psychosocial issues that South Africa's youth currently face. A 2015 alumni of the University of Cape Town's BA (Hons) in Theatre and Performance programme.
