Biography
Born and had his schooling in Hermannsburg and Damelin college, then completed a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (1975 - 1977).
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
Starting out as a video cameraman in the SABC television department he later became Promotion Department manager, producing on-air promotions (1982 - 2004). In those years he also worked on a selection of big budget variety and drama studio productions as well as producing and directing music videos.
He left the SABC and moved to Somerset West, to work independently, inter alia as a Producer/ director with Welela Studios (2006 - 2012) and To Go Productions (2009 -) on a diverse selection of television programmes - including Treasure Hunt, Whip the Chef, Eish Aids in SA, The World Cable Wakeboarding Championships and was and aas the Cape Producer for the SABC series TalkSA, and was the Cape Producer for the SABC series TalkSA.
Movies he worked on include 'n Saak van Geloof, Durban Poison, 100 Metre Leeu Loop, Double Echo.
