Esta Terblanche (1973 - 2024) was a South African born actress.

Biography

Born in South Africa on 7 January, 1973, she was crowned as Miss Teen South Africa in 1991, before she began pursuing a career in acting.

The former soap opera star was and starred as Bienkie Naudé Hartman on Egoli: Place of Gold, a popular drama in the country, before landing her role on All My Children.

She started out as a TV actress when she was cast in the leading role of "Bienkie Naudé Hartman" in the TV soap opera Egoli: Place of Goldo shortly after leaving high school.

At the age of 23 she moved to America and in 1997 was cast as "Gillian Andrassy Lavery" in the American soap All My Children[], a role she played from 1997 to 2001.

She passed away unexpectedly on 19 July 2024 at her home in Los Angeles at the age of 51.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

She played "Bienkie Naudé" in the TV soap Egoli.
