My Name is Rachel Corrie is a one-woman play by Katharine Viner and Alan Rickman, based on the diaries and emails of peace-activist Rachel Corrie.

The original text
Journalist Katharine Viner and actor Alan Rickman edited the diaries and emails of peace-activist Rachel Corrie (1979–2003) who had been killed by an Israel Defense Forces soldier when she was aged 23, to create to the play. It was first performed in April 2005 at the Royal Court Theatre, London, directed by Alan Rickman, and the play went on to win the Theatregoers' Choice Awards for Best Director and Best New Play, as well as Best Solo Performance for actress Megan Dodds.
Translations and adaptations
Performance history in South Africa
2013: Staged by the Hearts & Eyes Theatre Collective at the Grahamstown Festival with Kate Liquorish as Rachel, directed by Jaqueline Dommisse.
2015: The production was staged at the Baxter Theatre in Cape Town and in the Barney Simon Theatre at the Market Theatre in Johannesburg.
