Not to be confused with the famous Italian film of this name (1948)[1]

The text was published by Junkets in 2009 (with The Crossing), as Issue 10 of Playscript series. Published again in Cockroach: A Trilogy of Plays: The Bicycle Thief - Faith in Love - The Crossing by Junkets in 2014 as Issue 17 of Playscript Series.
Performance history in South Africa
2009: Presented by the Bonfire Theatre Company, directed by Bo Petersen at the National Arts Festival.
