Daleen Kruger () is a dramatist and visual artist.

Biography
Born in Pretoria, she matriculated at the Hoërskool Tuine then completed a BA-degree in socialssciences at the Potchefstroomse Universiteit vir Christelike Hoër Onderwys. There she began writing poems.
In 1990 shew moved to the town of Churchhaven for 2 years, where she turned to painting and photography, then moved to Darling, becomning the town's publicity officer and Die Burger newspaper's Wes Coast correspondent. In this time she began writing the town's annual passion play.
In 2000 she moved to Yzerfontein, where she now turned to sculpture and opened her own ceramics studio, the Whale Tale Studio, and also began writing plays - usually submitting them for competitions as well as adapting them for radio.
She later moved to Nieu Bethesda.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
Her stage and radio plays include Die Maket (2007), Jonas (2008), Draadwerk (2009), Labirint (), Boksballade (2013), “Bye Ma, Jaypee”, Wilde Roosmaryn (2015).
