2000: First produced by the The Barnstormers in the Arena Theatre at the Nico Malan Theatre Complex, Cape Town, from 24 May to 10 June. Directed by Jill Fletcher, with Ralph Lawson ("André Huguenet"), Mary Dreyer ("Elsa Fouché" and "Anna Neethling-Pohl"), Johann Nel ("Johan Nell"), Paul Huckle ("Siegfried Mynhardt"), Noël Oostendorp ("Mr Polikansky"), Alan Knibbs (the young "F.W. de Klerk").
