The Hilton Arts Festival is 3-4 day arts festival held annually on the campus of Hilton College [1] outside Pietermaritzburg in Kwazulu Natal.

Origins and aims

The festival was established in 1993, with the aim of bringing the pick of South Africa's performing arts to KwaZulu Natal and to support South African writing. This primary aim is enhanced by all other aspects of the festival: art exhibitions, craft, food and drink, live music.

Structure and management

Among those involved in the management are the Sue Clarence and Geoff Thompson

A Voice I Cannot Silence (2015), Die Reuk van Appels (14-16 September 2018), The Ugly Noo Noo (24-25 September, 2022). .
