[[Eilers Films]] was a production company established by actor, director, producer, newsreader, and radio personality, [[Paul Eilers]] alongside his wife at the time. In 1982, Paul was hired by Dirk de Villiers to direct the television series, ''[[King of Diamonds]]''. His debut directing on this production inspired him to found [[Eilers Films]] the following year in 1983. The company was run out of the couple's family home in Johannesburg.

Eilers Films was a production company established by actor, director, producer, newsreader, and radio personality, Paul Eilers in 1983.

Current status

Eilers Films has since been dissolved and is no longer active.

Impact on SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

Several productions were released by Eilers Films including:

In 1984 the film, Die Fluiter, starring Elma Potgieter, Schalk Jacobz, and Tromp Terre’blanche was released. This production was funded by Faan van Tonder’s Mandalay Films and the SABC.

During that year, Eilers Films also produced the documentary series, Die Spoorweg Polisie and the film, James (Ek Hoort nie hier Nie).
