Biography
The son of the academic Gerrit Dekker He had his schooling in Potchefstroom, then obtained a degree in literature, becoming a Latin teacher, then lecturer in Afrikaans and Dutch, before joining the Woordeboek van die Afrikaanse Taal (WAT) in Stellenbosch as sub-editor.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
He compiled a collection of Biblical radio plays called Drie Bybelhoorspele (1972).
