Musical theatre highlights include lead roles in productions of Broadway musicals: Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat; The Buddy Holly Story; Evita; Cabaret; Peter Pan; Jesus Christ Superstar as well as South African musicals : Scribble, Antjie Somers and Fiela’s Child - The Musical. He appeared in Kevin Feather's musical revue Pure Diamond.
He co-directed the Rhodes University Drama Department Mini-Fest production of
with Calum Stevenson at the Rhodes University Theatre in August 1991,
He directed the Rhodes University Drama Department Honours student production of Tom Stoppard's Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead in 1993.
With regard to TV work, Adrian flew to Tunisia for a lead in Regardt van den Bergh's Bible epic Acts and he played the villain in Meeulanders.
