The Institute for Social and Individual Development in Africa (ISIDA) was based at the East London division of Rhodes University, under the direction of Prof Ken Dovey.
Aims and function
The Institute for Social and Individual Development in Africa (ISIDA) initiated social action research projects in the Border region, with specific emphasis on the development of non-formal educational structures and processes.
