There appear to have been two Afrikaans plays using the title Eerste April ("First April").

is an original one-act play for children by Stella Blakemore (1906-1991).

The original text

An extremely short play (of 8 pages) in two acts about pranks gone wrong, written for young people and set in a schoolroom.

First published in the collection Woord en Daad ("word and deed", A.P.B., 1952) and then in Klein Begin in die Drama (edited by J.B. Spies, De Jager-HAUM, 1976).
