Oom Bey, My Pa is a play by Henque Heymans (1985-)

The play tells the story of Beyers Naudé as seen through the eyes of his youngest child and only daughter, Liesel. She recounts her experience of observing how the youngest member of the Broederbond transformed into one of South Africa's most celebrated liberation heroes. Liesel analyses her relationship with her father against the background of his struggle between obedience to God and obedience to the Church.
