Die Braaiboud ("The roast leg of lam") is an Afrikaans one-act comedy by Gerhard J. Beukes (1913-1998).

A play about catering problems for a family gathering for New Year’s day celebrations.

First published in Kerse Teen die Wind: Tien Eenbedrywe (1950) and later in Die Nôientjie het Planne! (1969), by J.L. van Schaik.

First performed in 19** by **.

1965: Performed by Universiteitsteater Stellenbosch in the Bothasaal, directed by Annette Faure, starring Mees Xteen, Rita Cilliers, Bie Engelen, Pieter de Swardt and Rahila Steyn.
