Studied at the University of Stellenbosch.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
While a student at Stellenbosch he wrote and directed the play Sprokieskoningkryk van die Voortlewendes (1978) for production by university residences Huis Marais and Irene.
Became the CEO of the Stigting vir Bemagtiging deur Afrikaans ("Foundation for empowerment through Afrikaans")[1]
