Dorian Haarhoff (1944-) is an academic, teacher, poet, novelist and playwright writer and dramatist.

Biography
He was professor of English at the University of Namibia (1993-1997), and has long been an active facilitator of storytelling and writing courses and has published widely himself in South Africa and Namibia, his creative works including poetry (Bordering, Aquifers and Dust), children's books (Desert December, Guano Girl and Legs, Bones and Eyes), and plays (see below)
Other writing includes A Writer's Voice: A Workbook for Writers in Africa (Struik Publishers (Pty) Ltd, 1998) and his memoires, called Route 77. A Poememoire (Heart Space Publications, Australia, 2023).
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
He wrote the plays Orange (1988), Skeleton (1989) and Guerrilla Goatherd (1990) published in Goats, Oranges and Skeletons : a trilogy of Namibian independence plays by Dorian Haarhoff ; edited by Terence Zeeman (Windhoek, Namibia: New Namibia Books, 2000).
