The original text
Originally written as a disturbing and award-winning novel for the youth in 2005, about three friends who attend a rock festival at Allemanskraal and depicts an alternative youth subculture in contemporary South Africa. The play was first adapted and directed by Thys Heydenrych for the University of the Free State at Aardklop in 2006?*. Then reworked and directed for a national tour in 2008 by Hennie van Greunen, with senior school children in the cast (André Terblanche, Anushka Life, Viljé Maritz, Julia Strydom en Rudi Brand.?*)
