First performed on 11 August, 1953, at the Théâtre de la Huchette, directed by Jacques Polieri.

Translated into English as Maid to Marry
Translated into Afrikaans as Vrou om te Trou ("Woman to marry") by Jonathan Durant as an excercise fior the third year playwriting course at the Stellenbosch Drama Department.
