Hannchen Koornhof is a educationist, publishing editor, actress and playwright.

The daughter of Hendrik Koornhoff, the brother of Nationalist minister Piet Koornhof

In 1976 she became the first relative of a Nationalist political leader to be arrested by the security police.[1]

She was a member of the Junction Avenue Theatre Company from 1976-1980.

She helped develop and co-authored the play Will of a Rebel, with Ari Sitas (1977/1979)
