The Afrikaner Weerstandsbeweging ("Afrikaner resistance movement", acronym: AWB) was an ultra-right wing separatist political and former paramilitary organization.
The movement first came into prominence in the 1970s. It was originally founded in 1973 by Eugène Terre'Blanche, who remained the leader till his death in 2010.
