David Stein (19**-19**) is a playwright and writer for various media

Biography

He has a BA Honours in English and Film from the University of the Witwatersrand (1996-1999) and an MA in Screenwriting, Film and Media from the University of Cape Town

He has worked as a writer in various media including television, film and the internet, a comic book writer for Strika Entertainment[1] (writing a soccer comic called Supa Strikas) and has been a staff member at the AFDA film and media school and served as a creative director for a number of other companies.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

While studying at the University of the Witwatersrand, he founded and worked with the Wits University Players.

He has written a number of plays and has been a participating writer on the Twist Theatre Development Projects from the start in 2009.

His plays include Interchange (2003), Tiksa (2007) and Camp 13 which he co-created with Jerry Pooe and The Just Don't Theatre Group in 2010.
