Biography

Born André Johan van Wyk on 20 November, 1956, in Welkom in the Orange Free State.

He became a lecturer in Afrikaans at the University of Durban-Westville

He passed away in Bloemfontein on 27 March, 2022.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

He wrote the theatre texts Wieretuin and Oudisie om die einde van die aarde te verhoed and produced them with Chris Pretorius.
