Klaaglied vir Koos is the title of a a novel and a play by Lettie Viljoen (pseudonym of Ingrid Winterbach)
Contents
The original text
A tale about a woman left behind when her husband leaves to fight in the Border War during the liberation struggle. The irony is that he supports the enemy, therefore he is a traitor.
Translations and adaptations
The novel was adapted for the stage by Barney Simon and Christo Leach.
