A look at the family of a veteran of the Angola border war, a war that could not be won, and the effect it had on him and on his family and loved ones.

2001: First staged in The Laager at the Market Theatre 20 October - 24 November, as part of the Barney Simon Young Writers’ Festival, directed by Marguerite Albrecht, with Nicky Rebelo (Manfred), Antoinette Kellerman (Estelle), Amanda Lane (Hannah) and Neels Clasen (Pikkie).
