Training
He studied drama at the University of Potchefstroom and Ohio State University, Columbus, USA.
Career
Was a Became Head of Department of University of Pretoria, Department of Drama in 1998 and subsequently became Research professor at the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT).
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
He wrote the one-act plays Ek Weet Wa’ Jy Dink and The Parable of Worms as well as a play in four acts, Firm and Steadfast We Shall Stand. He also wrote Ons Sal Offer Wat Jy Vra which was performed at Kampustoneel in 1990.
