Doubt is a play by American playwright John Patrick Shanley [1] (1950-).

Originally staged off-Broadway at the Manhattan Theatre Club on November 23, 2004.

The play won the 2005 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and Tony Award for Best Play.

The play was turned into an Academy Award-nominated film starring Philip Seymour Hoffman as Father Flynn and Meryl Streep as Sister Aloysius.
