First performed in Dutch as Naar de Diamantvelden in 1870.

Translations and adaptations

Published in a five act Afrikaans version by De Bussy (Pretoria) and HAUM (Cape Town) in 1921, now called Die Diamantkoors, of Einde Goed, Alles Goed ("The diamond fever, or all's well that ends well").

Performance history in South Africa

1870: Performed as Naar de Diamant Velden in the Germania Hall, Cape Town, by Aurora II on 13 November, with Een Offer der Vrijheid (Schuitemaker).
