A Dutch speaking citizen of Cape Town, where he worked as clerk. He was the brother of P. Luyt.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

A member of and actor for the Cape Town based amateur company Door Yver Bloeit de Kunst in the years 1865-1873.
