Performance history in South Africa
1868: First performed as Het Vierde Huwelijk van Jacoba van Beijeren in the hall of the Germania Liedertafel, Cape Town, by Aurora II on 2 April.
1873: Performed as Het Vierde Huwelijk van Jacoba van Beijeren by Aurora II in the Oddfellows Hall, Cape Town, on 3 July, with as an afterpiece De Bloedzuigers, of De Minnehandel in de Apotheek (Ruysch).
