The Manoeuvres of Jane is a comedy in four acts by Henry Arthur Jones (1851–1929)[1].

The original text
First performed at the Theatre Royal, Haymarket, on 28 October, 1898 and the text published by The Chiswick Press, 1898. The play was subsequently performed in New York at Daly's Theatre on from 27 November, 1899 to 4 February 1900 and the text published by Macmillan, in 1904.

1901: According to D.C. Boonzaier's reminiscences (1923), The Manoeuvres of Jane was performed by the Sass and Nelson Company in the Opera House, Cape Town, as part of a season of plays that commenced on 11 May.
