De Moord van Dingaan aan Pieter Retief ("The murder by Dingane of Piet Retief") is a locally written Dutch tragedy in 4 acts by H.W. Teengs (fl 1860-1890).

The original text
Written by Teengs for performance by the Rederijkerskamer Aurora II in 1869, the play is based on a historical event, namely the killing of the Voortrekker leader, Piet Retief, and his men, after having just signed a treaty with the Zulu king Dingane at Ungungundlovu in Natal[1].
