Based on Andrew Murray's period in Wellington, South Africa, the play explores the impact his work there had on a diverse groups of people. It was commissioned for the centenary celebrations of the Wellington erection of the famous Goodnow Hall in the town in 1886, and first performed during the festivities in 1986.
The text was published by Perskor in 1987.
