He worked for The Space in the 1970s, directing H.P. and Friends (1977), McCarthy (1977/8), The Wages of Sin (1978) and The Mortgage (1978).
Nigel performed in Fanshen (1980) and Tarradiddle Travels (1980).
In 2011 he played Poirot in the Fish Hoek Dramatic Society production of Alibi and in 2015 he directed and designed sets for their production of The Sunshine Boys.
