The Sunshine Boys is an original two act play written by Neil Simon.

The original text
The play premiered December 20, 1972 on Broadway.
Translations and adaptations
It was later adapted for film and television.
The play was translated into Afrikaans by Wim Vorster entitled Die Kwinkslaers.
Performance history in South Africa
2015: A Fish Hoek Dramatic Society was directed by Nigel Stevenson.
