Biography
She was born in Cape Town on 21 January 1927. Studied music at the College of Music, under Leonard Hall. She was married to Archie Sieff, the brother of Percy Sieff. She died in Cape Town on 14 October 2016.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
She worked at The Space theatre in the 1970s and at the same time she managed an agency for actors, Sands and Sieff (established 1972). Later called Sybil Sands Artist's Agent.
She was a founder member of both the Personal Managers' Association (for Actors, founded in 1980)
and the National TV and Video Association.

Fleur du Cap Lifetime Achievement Award 2007.
