Biography
Grew up on a farm outside Cape Town where he learnt to climb trees, make pots and speak Xhosa. Did a Business Science Degree at UCT
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
He travelled Southern Africa with a theatre company and a herd of donkeys. His stand-up comedy career began shortly thereafter, appearing on Comedy Showcase as renowned Zimbabwean donkey-rustler Jabulani Ndlovu. He shot to fame in 2004 as the multilingual presenter of SABC 1’s Coca-Cola Mega Millions Game Show.
As a standup comedian he has done The Life and Times of Klasie Kakpraat and Anyone Seen my Goat? and One Man, One Goat (2007), 3 Wiser Men (with Marc Lottering and Riaad Moosa, 2008-9).
