His first major role was creating and performing the original “Mingus” in Sophiatown by Junction Avenue Theatre Company

Cry Freemandela – The Movie (Pieter-Dirk Uys, 1988)

Molepo has acted in numerous theatre productions including Barney Simon's Starbrites at the Market Theatre in September 1990, Pieter-Dirk Uys's Scorched Earth (1989) and MacBeki (2009), The Dance of Death (1998),Nongogo, Dikitsheneng, Marabi, Sauer Street and Sizwe Bansi is Dead.

He wrote the play Flick of Light (Playscript held by NELM [Collection: SIMON, Barney]: 2003. 90. 252. 2.)

Television dramas include 2020 Orlando East (Pitso Mohomane ), Generations (Busang), Let Heaven Wait (Reverend Dupa), Mshika-shika (Bonsai), Rhythm City (Sydney Shabalala) and Skeem Saam (Captain Malebana).

Feature films include Mapantsula (1987), Tödliche Geschäfte (1991) and Hijack Stories (2000). [1]
