He was born in Johannesburg.
Training
BA (Hons) graduate.
Career
He has worked in various folk and jazz bands and has been the band leader of a Chassidic music band in Johannesburg.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
At The Space in the 1970s he helped compose the music for The Incredible Jungle Journey of Fenda Maria and performed music in Lysistrata S.A. and Zombie.
He worked with Barney Simon on Mother Courage, Marat/Sade and The Dybbuk at the Market Theatre.
