Kersfees om die Kampvuur is a musical performance piece for children by Adele Gie (1914-2012)
The original text
It is based on a collection of songs and legends, adapted and harmonized for four voices, and was published under the name Adele Gie by Unie-Volkspers in 1941.
It was long listed for the Hertzog Prize for Drama for the period 1941-1943.
Performance history in South Africa
Information on a performance of the original work has yet to be found.
