The play is deals with the rise of Nazi fascism and the holocaust of the Second World War, and was first performed in 1982.
Performance history in South Africa
1982: First performed late night Upstairs at the Market on 10 May, directed by Ian Steadman with Frantz Dobrowsky, David Eppel, Greg Latter, Lynette Luyt, Michael Richard and Louise Saint-Claire.
