The Case of Rebellious Susan is a comedy in three acts by Henry Arthur Jones (1851-1929)[1].

The original text

First performed in London at Wyndham's Theatre in 1894 and at the Lyceum Theatre, New York, December 29, 1894. First published by Macmillan and Company in 1894.


Translations and adaptations

Performance history in South Africa

1895: Performed in the Opera House, Cape Town, by Edward Sass and his company, under the auspices of Ben and Frank Wheeler.

1901: Performed in the Good Hope Theatre, Cape Town by Edward Sass and his company during October, probably under the auspices of Ben and Frank Wheeler.
