The Green Box is a play by Rayne Kruger. A fictional play about Dr James Barry, the doctor at the Cape in the times of Sir Charles Somerset ? who was revealed to be a man on her death/ [about a woman who disguised her sex to serve as a doctor in the Boer War according to Telegraph obituary].
Briefly performed at the Chepstow Theatre in London. Written for Nan Munro.
