The original text
A play about people caught in a situation over which they have no control, and tells of two adult brothers who live with their grandmother in Hawston. The elder brother is embittered because he had to leave a good job in the city when his mother was cruelly murdered and his father was found guilty of the murder. He does not believe his father is guilty. His younger brother has faint symptoms of fetal alcohol syndrome and very unstable. He thus has to live in Hawston to assist the grandmother.
