Sam Moss (19*-). Actor who later became the Mayor of Johannesburg and served on the boards of PACT and the Johannesburg Civic Theatre.
He starred in The Witch, staged by the Johannesburg Reps in 1948, together with Berdine Grunewald, Johann Nell and Doreen Mantle.
The Shirley Moss Award is named after his wife.
