The Company
It's full title is D.K.T. Teaters (Edms) Bpk ("D.K.T. Theatres (Co) Ltd"), with the D.K.T. deriving from = Drama, Klug ("farce") en Treurspel ("Tragedy") ) A professional Afrikaans theatre company founded in Pretoria by Chris Steenkamp in 1938. Produced plays such as Nita die Danseres (B.Mellet), Die Hotnotkatriel , Erasmus se Erfgename, and Vriendskap en Opoffering (by W. Ewald. M. Steenkamp).
The journal
The company also published a theatre journal Kuns en Humor ("Art and Humour").
