Biography

He grew up in Carletonville.

He was a member of SWAPAC and PACOFS begore joining CAPAB in 1981 and starting to work freelance in 1982.

He has appeared on stage in 'n Stryd met Engele, Atlantis! Atlantis!, Die Vasvat van 'n Feeks, Die Leeu in die Winter, Ek, Anna van Wyk (1984), Die Koggelaar (PACOFS), Die Groot Wit Roos (PACOFS, 1991), Not With My Gun (1998).

Paul is best known for the role of Saul in Dalene Matthee's Kringe in 'n Bos. Other prominent roles he played include Elias in Fiela se Kind (Lefra Produksies) in 2007, the cult leader Menasse in Egoli - Plek van Goud and Pop in the film version of Triomf. He also had a role in Fiela's Child - The Musical.

Other appearances on stage were in productions of Die Keiser, Mooi Maria, Kom Terug, Klein Sheba, Die Ryk Weduwee, The Wizard of Oz, Die Swerfjare van Poppie Nongena, Vlerkdans, Ebenezer Pennieknyper, Agter Gelsote Deure, Die Oresteia-trilogie, Ons vir Jou, Funny Money, Die Geldpot.
