Bess is a drama in three acts by Aimée Daniell Beringer (Mrs. Oscar Beringer, 1856–1936)[1].

The original text
First performed in the Novelty Theatre, London on 17 November, 1891, and produced again as a matinee performance, in aid of the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, at St James's Theatre, London, on 12 June, 1893, produced by and featuring Genevieve Ward, with W.H. Vernon, among others. Unpublished.
