Die Du Plooys van Soetmelksvlei is an Afrikaans radio soap opera written by Jan Schutte.

The title and set-up of this series was satirically used by Pieter-Dirk Uys as a vehicle for his hugely popular and biting political satire Die Van Aardes van Grootoor (19).
Published in two volumes by Tafelberg Uitgewers, as Die Du Plooys van Soetmelksvlei 1 (1960) and Die Du Plooys van Soetmelksvlei 2 (1963).
